This was designed as a lead-in for a lesson on distance learning for the Lifestyle Intermediate Textbook. But perhaps it can stand on its own. I did some pre-listening and post-listening questions, all on the PowerPoint. For this particular listening, there's no questions designed around the transcript, but I prepared a transcript and gave it to the students anyway.

learning?
Imagine you could study at the best
institutes in the world -- without leaving your country. Would you be

The idea of distance learning is not new,
but the offer is increasing rapidly: There are traditional universities, open
