Make and Do Collocations

(TESOL Worksheets--Vocabulary, Collocations)

A list of discussion questions for students to talk about in groups, with feedback on Google slides.  I used this to supplement the list of collocations in Life Pre-Intermediate Textbook lesson 7C Twenty First Century Cowboys p.86-87.  But I think it can also stand independently of the textbook.

Think about a time you made a mistake.  What did you do?  What happened?

What is the best decision you have ever made?

What is the worst decision you have ever made?

Think about the last time someone did you a favour.  What did they do for you?

Think about the last time you did a favor for someone else.  What did you do for them?

When you were a student, did you do well at school?

Do you do well at work?

Do you make your bed every day?

Think of a time someone made a loud noise, and it disturbed you.  What did you do?

What do you do at work every day?
